Dry Ice Blasting Services in Calgary, AB
Largest Alberta metro. Energy sector fleet, manufacturing, food and beverage. Cross-border service from Kalispell base.
Why Summit Cryo serves Calgary
Calgary is the largest metro in our cross-border footprint and the energy, heavy-equipment, and food-and-beverage center of southern Alberta. We dispatch cross-border from our Kalispell base via the Roosville port of entry, which puts Calgary about 6 hours of drive time from our shop. Pricing is quoted in USD with drive time, brokerage, and per-diem broken out transparently.

Example jobs we run in Calgary
Calgary is about 6 hours from Kalispell via the Roosville border crossing on Highway 93. Cross-border logistics — customs brokerage, equipment manifest, and dry ice import — are handled by our crew before dispatch; you don't manage any of it on your end. We typically pair Calgary with an Edmonton stop on a multi-day Alberta block.
Energy and heavy-equipment accounts pilot a single piece of priority equipment during a planned route, then move to a quarterly cadence. Food and beverage customers pilot a single sanitation window and convert to a monthly cadence — same as our U.S. food-plant customers.

Calgary questions, answered
Yes. We file the manifest, work with a customs broker on the U.S. and Canadian sides, and handle dry ice import paperwork. You don't manage any of the border logistics — we show up ready to work.
We quote in USD by default because our cost base is in USD, but we can quote in CAD on request. Drive time, brokerage, and per-diem are broken out as separate line items so you see exactly what you're paying for.
Currently quarterly as part of an Alberta route block, paired with Edmonton on the same trip. Recurring customers see the best per-job pricing because drive time, brokerage, and per-diem are amortized across multiple stops.

What customers in this market tell us
We walk the assets with you before quoting, then send a written scope so there is no ambiguity about what is and isn't included.
We run a test patch on the actual substrate before committing to the full job, so you can see the result before we proceed.
We work inside your maintenance window, subject to site access and ventilation requirements — not the other way around.
Every job closes with a photo record and a time log, so you have documentation on file for your own records.
