Dry ice blasting FAQ
- What is dry ice blasting?
- Industrial CO₂ pellet blasting for in-place cleaning of production equipment, fleets, food plants, and fire/smoke restoration. No process water and no cleaning chemicals; the pellets sublimate to gas, so the only material left to collect is the contaminant itself.
- Which surfaces can it clean?
- Production equipment, trucks, loaders and heavy equipment, food plants and commercial kitchens, soot-damaged structures, and undercarriages and engine bays. Dry ice pellets sublimate on impact, so the substrate is not abraded the way it would be with sand, walnut shell, or soda blasting. Scope is based on substrate, contaminant, access and site controls.
- Do you come on site?
- Yes. We run a mobile operation out of Kalispell, Montana and route rigs across Montana, Idaho, Washington, North Dakota and South Dakota. We walk the facility (or review photos) to scope the work, confirm safety requirements, and identify any test-blast surfaces.
