    Buyer Context

Heavy equipment that's been working can't be properly inspected, repaired, or resold without being clean. Pressure-washing soaks the pins, bushings, and electrical; degreaser-and-rinse generates wash-water that has to be captured. Dry ice does the work without the cleanup.

    The problem this solves

Excavators, dozers, loaders, skid steers, and combines accumulate a layer of grease, oil, dirt, and crop residue that hides exactly what the mechanic needs to see — leaks, weld cracks, pin wear, hose chafing, and unfinished welds.

The pre-inspection clean is the bottleneck. A rental return or a pre-sale unit can sit waiting for a wash-bay slot. Wash-water has to be captured. And once you've soaked the pins with high-pressure water, you've added moisture to places that didn't have moisture before.

    Why dry ice blasting fits

Dry ice blasting removes the soil layer without added process water, so the pins, bushings, electrical connectors, and hydraulics stay dry. The mechanic walks up to a clean machine and can see everything that matters on the first pass.

For rental yards and resale prep, the visual difference is the value. Bare-metal cleanliness on a frame rail is the difference between asking price and counter-offer.

    Surfaces and equipment we clean

    • Frame rails, undercarriages, and final drives
    • Engine compartments and after-treatment housings
    • Hydraulic cylinders, lines, and manifolds
    • Boom, stick, and bucket pivots
    • Cab exteriors and steps
    • Combine concaves, headers, and chaffer assemblies

Where this isn't the right method

    • Rubber-track replacement, hose replacement, or bearing repair — those are mechanical scopes.
    • Asbestos-containing brake or clutch components, or other hazardous material, on legacy equipment — that requires a qualified abatement contractor first; it's out of scope for us until cleared.

    Safety & Site Prep

What we bring, what we coordinate

    • Hydraulic and electrical lockout — batteries disconnected and equipment de-energized per your site's procedure — on any units in repair status.
    • Containment to keep soil out of adjacent units and yard drains.
    • CO₂ monitoring inside enclosed shop bays.

Heavy Equipment Degreasing — questions buyers ask us

Can you clean a unit while it's parked outside?

Yes — most yard work happens in the open. Wind direction matters for containment; we plan around it.

    Do you handle resale prep?

Often. The before/after photo packet alone is worth the visit for dealers and rental yards.

Will it damage decals or warning labels?

We test on an inconspicuous area first and set pressure based on that result. Tell us if specific decals need to stay intact so we can dial it in before the full pass.
