    Plant sanitarians and QA managers care about three things on a sanitation event: was the heavy soil removed from contact-adjacent surfaces, is there a record they can file, and did the line restart inside the existing window. Dry ice blasting is a mechanical soil-removal step that supports all three — it does not replace your chemical sanitation or your QA sign-off.

    The problem this solves

    Food-processing equipment accumulates flour dust, baked-on sugar, protein residue, grease, and product fines that traditional wet methods either can't fully remove or remove at the cost of long dry-down windows and ATP re-verification.

    On a tight sanitation window, the line that has to restart at 0600 can't afford a 90-minute dry-down. And every wet method introduces moisture into bearings, electrical, and refrigeration that wasn't designed to take it.

    Why dry ice blasting fits

    Dry ice is dry-only — no process water in the bearings, no moisture on the harness, no rinse cycle to time. The blast pass ends and the line is ready for the next process step.

    On sticky residues (sugar, dough, batter), the thermal shock embrittles the deposit so it releases cleanly from stainless. On flour and dust, the pellet kinetic energy lifts the buildup off without abrading the seam welds where buildup starts.

    Does this replace our chemical sanitation?

    No. It replaces the heavy-soil mechanical step — scraping, foam-and-rinse on dry-only zones — that's typically the labor bottleneck. Your chemical sanitation steps continue per SSOP.

    Can you work during production?

    Spot scopes, sometimes. Production-line scopes go in the off-shift window. Tell us your cadence and we'll fit.

    Will an auditor accept the documentation?

    We provide a timestamped photo and time log for each asset we clean. Whether that satisfies a given auditor, and how it maps to your CCPs, is your plant's and your sanitarian's determination — we don't represent that it meets any specific standard.

    Grease, carbon, smoke-residue sources and production buildup accumulate all summer. Once traffic drops, there is finally a window to work on hoods, kitchen equipment, production lines, fleet assets and back-of-house areas — mechanically, on compatible surfaces, and scoped after a site review.

    Dry ice blasting is a mechanical cleaning or pre-cleaning method for compatible surfaces. It is not a sanitizing step; food-contact sanitization stays under your facility's approved SOP.
