    Conveyors, ovens, and mixers are the three assets that almost always run long on sanitation night. They're hard to reach, full of seams where buildup hides, and expensive to disassemble. Dry ice cleans them in-place.

    The problem this solves

    Conveyor framing, oven crowns, and mixer gear housings are where time bleeds out of every sanitation window. Conveyor seams collect baked-on residue; oven crowns build up carbon; mixer housings hold grease and dust the wash crew can't reach without partial disassembly.

    The bottleneck isn't the chemistry — it's the access. Wet methods can't reach the seams; manual scraping can't keep up; partial tear-down adds reassembly time you don't have.

    Why dry ice blasting fits

    Dry ice pellet velocity reaches into the seams, between the rollers, and behind the brackets where wash-down can't. The asset stays installed; the cleaning happens in-place.

    Because there's no process water, the bearings, the electrical, and the drive motors stay dry — and the line restarts without a moisture-related fault.

    Can you clean the belt while it's running?

    Yes for some scopes — slow-speed in-process cleaning of the return strand is common on bakery lines. We'll confirm safe procedure with your maintenance lead.

    Do you replace our wet wash team?

    No — we work alongside them on the assets they can't reach efficiently with wet methods.

    Grease, carbon, smoke-residue sources and production buildup accumulate all summer. Once traffic drops, there is finally a window to work on hoods, kitchen equipment, production lines, fleet assets and back-of-house areas — mechanically, on compatible surfaces, and scoped after a site review.

    Dry ice blasting is a mechanical cleaning or pre-cleaning method for compatible surfaces. It is not a sanitizing step; food-contact sanitization stays under your facility's approved SOP.
