Our standard

www.summit-cryo.com targets conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. We treat accessibility as part of design, not a bolt-on, and review the site regularly as we add content.

What we've built in

• Semantic HTML structure with one H1 per page and descriptive headings.
• Color contrast checked against WCAG AA on body text, navigation, and primary buttons.
• Keyboard-reachable navigation with visible focus rings on every interactive element.
• Descriptive alt text on photography and informative graphics; decorative images marked appropriately.
• Forms with associated labels, clear error states, and accessible names on all inputs.
• Respect for the operating-system prefers-reduced-motion setting — animation and smooth scrolling are automatically disabled when requested.
• A user-controlled smooth scroll toggle in the footer for visitors who prefer instant navigation.
• Text resizing up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.

Known limitations

We're an actively maintained site, and a few areas are still being tuned:

• Some embedded third-party widgets (e.g., maps) may not fully match our standard.
• A small number of older photos in our gallery may have generic alt text we're rewriting.
